Now Cooking | More ‘Tiny Kitchen’
December 19, 2008

Since my first post about “Tiny Kitchen,” which takes you into my small kitchen to demonstrate the Sunday Magazine recipes, we have filmed two more webisodes.
One involved making spelt crackers, and another a Roquefort and walnut salad. Many viewers of the first video, The Normandy cocktail, have said that “Tiny Kitchen” and the published recipes it features are hard to locate on the Web site. We are working on this. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy them and keep the feedback coming. It’s so useful. Thanks.

Great stuff! I’m making the salad now as the snow piles up outside. I’m into cleaning up as I go and it’s nice to get confirmation about it, even though my kitchen’s not quite so tiny. You seem like a “dear” in the headlights, not a deer. Keep it going!
Ciao, Tico
And then the salad one becomes the cracker one right after loading. Is it just me?
I adore these Tiny Kitchen videos. The more, the merrier!
Fabulous idea!!! We lived in something a bit smaller and served TWO Thanksgiving dinners to 22 persons!!! The Highlight of our years in the Big Apple!
Please, try and do a print out of the recipes!! I await the next recipe!! Thank you!!!
Your videos are truly an inspiration.
I cook nightly out of a tiny kitchen in Washington, DC that is overflowing with kitchen supplies. I like your ban on “unitaskers,” and have very much taken that idea to heart. Plus, my girlfriend won’t let me buy anymore kitchen-related items until I reorganize the overflowing drawers and shelves. (Although I just ordered that stovetop smoker you recommended, which may get me into some trouble when it arrives.)
Maybe you could highlight some of your strategies for organizing a tiny urban kitchen in a video or blog post. For example, it looks like you’ve attached a lot of hooks to the wall for cooking utensils, which makes a lot of sense.
Anyway, I love Tiny Kitchen and am spreading the word about you to anyone who will listen.
